Join us on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon at Stoneybrook West Golf Club for this free event where participants will learn about the science of caring for a golf course to both protect the environment and create healthy turf conditions as well as participate in environmental education activities.

Keeping Kids on Course Golf Marathon

On June 20, 2016 we will host our first ever Golf Marathon. This is going to be an exciting day of golf for you at the Golden Bear Club at Keene’s Pointe, which recently featured the Diamond Resorts Invitational.

We need 25 golfers who will raise pledges from friends, families, and businesses. The golfers will ask for pledges for each hole that they play (36 holes total). There is no fee for the golfers to play, however, we ask all golfers to commit to raising at least $1,440 (that's 10 sponsors donating $4 per hole)!

2016 Hunter's Creek Junior Golf Summer Camp

Hunter's Creek Golf Club will be holding Summer Camps this Summer. The First Tee of Central Florida will be assisting in answering questions and registration. There will be no financial assistance or multi-child discounts.
Summer Camp Cost: $195.00, each additional week $175.00 per participant.

Chris Barley, Managing Director at Ameriprise Financial Services, Orlando, is a gamechanger for The First Tee of Central Florida. Joining Arnold Palmer in supporting The First Tee of Central Florida, Mr. Barley is a National Trustee of The First Tee. Additionally, he donates his time and talent to serve on the Advisory Board of The First Tee of Central Florida.

The Home of The Nine Healthy Habits

The First Tee Nine Healthy Habits were created through a collaboration among The First Tee, ANNIKA Foundation and Florida Hospital for Children to promote healthy, active lifestyles for young people. The FIrst Tee of Central Florida Honorary Board Member Annika Sorenstam serves as the International Spokesperson for the Nine Healty Habits. The healthy habits are a list of nine health and wellness topics presented as a part The First Tee, formatted for easy understanding and learning by elementary-age students and chapter participants.

Arnold Palmer Donates $200,000 to The First Tee of Central Florida

Arnold Palmer, Hall of Fame golfer and The First Tee National Trustee, has made a $200,000 donation to The First Tee of Central Florida chapter to establish The Arnold Palmer Scholarship Fund. Through Mr. Palmer’s lead gift and support as Honorary Chairman, The First Tee of Central Florida is committed to growing the fund to over $1,000,000 in the next 10 years.
