Hero World Challenge

All eyes are on Isleworth as the PGA TOUR’s best players compete in the Hero World Challenge at Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, FL, December 3 – 7, 2014. The Hero World Challenge is a 72-hole, stroke-play 18 player invitational tournament with past champions including host Tiger Woods, Graeme McDowell, Jim Furyk, and Zach Johnson expected to play. For the first time ever, a limited number of tickets are available to the general public for a professional golf tournament at Isleworth.

PNC Father Son Challenge

This is where family moments happen. Share this unique experience and love of the game, as golf legends and their families compete in The PNC Father/Son Challenge. . This is arguably one of the most unique events in golf and ultimately serves as a forum to determine the best father/son team in the game. Past champions include Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Raymond Floyd, Hale Irwin, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Nick Price, Lee Trevino, Curtis Strange, Fuzzy Zoeller, David Duval, Davis Love III, Vijay Singh and more. The Home of The Nine Healthy Habits

The First Tee Nine Healthy Habits were created through a collaboration among The First Tee, ANNIKA Foundation and Florida Hospital for Children to promote healthy, active lifestyles for young people. The FIrst Tee of Central Florida Honorary Board Member Annika Sorenstam serves as the International Spokesperson for the Nine Healty Habits. The healthy habits are a list of nine health and wellness topics presented as a part The First Tee, formatted for easy understanding and learning by elementary-age students and chapter participants.

Arnold Palmer Donates $200,000 to The First Tee of Central Florida

Arnold Palmer, Hall of Fame golfer and The First Tee National Trustee, has made a $200,000 donation to The First Tee of Central Florida chapter to establish The Arnold Palmer Scholarship Fund. Through Mr. Palmer’s lead gift and support as Honorary Chairman, The First Tee of Central Florida is committed to growing the fund to over $1,000,000 in the next 10 years.
