What is The First Tee’s Golf Marathon?

Our 4th Annual Golf Marathon will take place on Monday, May 13, 2019 at The Country Club of Orlando. Our goal for 2019 is to raise over $40,000.  All money that is raised will support The First Tee of Central Florida programs, you can learn about The First Tee’s Program and the positive impact we’re having on our local youth by clicking here.
This year, golfers/fundraisers can sign up as Individuals or as Teams.  Individuals who sign up are expected to raise a minimum of $750 and teams are expected to generate a minimum of $1,500.

Teams can consist of as many fundraisers as you would like, however, only up to 4 golfers will play golf the day of the event.  To encourage fundraising far beyond the individual or team goal, prizes will be awarded to the individual and the team that raises the most.

Nervous about having to fund-raise?  We’ll provide you with all of the tools that you will need to be successful.  We’ll even provide you with a website and templates that you can send to your friends, family, and co-workers.  Everyone who donates will receive an immediate automated thank you along with a tax-receipt.  Following the event, The First Tee of Central Florida will provide each donor with a thank you as well.

What Happens the Day of the Event
7:00 am – Registration and Breakfast
8:30 am – Shotgun start – 18 holes play your own ball in a best ball format
1:00 pm – End of 18 Holes, Lunch Provided
2:00 pm – Shotgun Start – 18 holes play a scramble with your team
6:30 pm – Awards Ceremony and Check Presentation and Photo Op
